Navid Saqib offers services in Pakistan (collectively, “Navid Saqib,” “us,” “we,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. As some of our Services may be software that is downloaded to your computer or another device, you agree that we may automatically update this software.

Please read these Terms carefully, and feel free to contact us if have any questions, requests for information, or complaints. By clicking “I accept” (or for those who have not yet created an account, by using our Services), you agree to be bound by these Terms. By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms, including the policies.

Using Navid Saqib

Who May Use our Services?

You may use our Services only if you can form a binding contract with Navid Saqib, and only in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws. When you create your account, and subsequently when you use features, you must provide us with accurate and complete information. You are agreed to update your information in order to keep it accurate and complete. Keep in consideration, that access by anyone under the age of 5 is prohibited. Certain regions and Content Offerings have additional requirements and/or restrictions.

Our License to You

Subject to these Terms and our policies (including the Acceptable Use Policy, course-specific eligibility requirements, as well as other terms), we as Navid Saqib grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license. You may download content from our Services for your personal, non-commercial use. You also agree that you will create, access, and/or use only one user account unless permitted by Navid Saqib. You will not share access to the account or access information for the account with any third party. Keep in consideration that using our Services does not give you ownership of or intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access.

Content Offerings

Changes to Content Offerings

Navid Saqib offers courses and content (“Content Offerings”) from universities and other providers (“Content Providers”). While we seek to provide quality Content Offerings from our Content Providers. Navid Saqib reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, as well as modify any Content Offerings, as well as change the point value or weight of any assignment in accordance with Content Provider instructions.

No Academic Credit

Navid Saqib does not grant academic credit for the completion of Content Offerings. Even if credit is awarded by an institution, there is no presumption that other institutions will accept it. You agree not to accept credit for completing a Content Offering unless you have earned a course certificate. Navid Saqib, instructors, as well as the associated Content Providers have no obligation to have Content Offerings recognized by any educational institution.

Disclaimer of Student-Content Provider Relationship

Except as described in the Degree, Certificate Programs section below, nothing in these Terms or otherwise with respect to your participation: (a) establishes the relationship between you and any Content Provider; (b) enrolls or registers you in Content Provider institution, in any Content Offering offered by any Content Provider institution; (c) entitles to use the resources of any Content Provider institution beyond participation.

Your Content

User Content

The Services enable you to share your content, including homework, quizzes, exams, projects, as well as other assignments you submit, and the like (“User Content”), with Navid Saqib, instructors, and/or other users. You retain intellectual property rights and are responsible for, the Content you create and share. There’s a great need to know that the Content does not include course content or other materials available on or placed on the Navid Saqib platform by or on behalf of Content Providers. As between Navid Saqib and Content Providers, such Content Offerings are governed by the relevant agreements.

How Navid Saqib May Use User Content

To the extent that you provide User Content, you grant Navid Saqib a fully-transferable, royalty-free, sublicensable, and non-exclusive license to copy, distribute, modify, and create user Content. The license includes granting Navid Saqib the right to authorize Content Providers to use User Content with registered students, or other learners independent of the Services. However, nothing in these Terms restricts other legal rights Navid Saqib may have to User Content.

Feedback

We welcome your suggestions, ideas, comments, as well as other feedback regarding the Services (“Feedback”). By submitting the Feedback, you grant us the right to use the Feedback without any restriction. By accepting your Feedback, Navid Saqib does not waive any rights to use similar or related Feedback known to Navid Saqib, developed by our employees, contractors, or obtained from other sources.

Security

We care about the security of our users and we work to protect the security of your account as well as related information, Navid Saqib cannot guarantee unauthorized third parties will not be able to defeat the security measures. Please notify us immediately of any compromise or unauthorized use of your account.

Third-Party Content

Through the Services, you have the ability to access and/or use content provided by instructors, other users, as well as other third parties. Navid Saqib cannot guarantee that such third-party content, in the Services or elsewhere, will be free of material you find objectionable or otherwise malware or other contaminants that may harm your computer. We as Navid Saqib disclaim any responsibility or liability related to access or use of, or inability to access or use, such third-party content.

Copyright and Trademark

Navid Saqib respects the intellectual property rights of our users, Content Providers, and other third parties as well as expects our users to do the same when using the Services. We have adopted and implemented the Navid Saqib Copyright and Trademark Policy below in accordance with applicable law.

Education Research

Navid Saqib is committed to advancing the science of learning and teaching, as well as records of participation in courses used for education research. In the interest of this research, you may be exposed to variations in the Content Offerings. Research findings are typically reported at the aggregate level.

Paid Services from Navid Saqib

Navid Saqib offers paid Services (e.g., course certificates for certain courses) for a fee. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are quoted in Pakistani Currency. You are responsible for paying all fees charged by or for Navid Saqib and applicable taxes in a timely manner with a payment mechanism associated with the applicable paid Services. If your payment method fails or your account is past due, we may collect fees using other collection mechanisms. Any change, update, or modification is effective immediately upon posting through the relevant Services. Moreover, refunds may be available for paid Services as described in our Refund Policy.

Accounts

You need an account for most activities on our platform. Keep your password safe, because you’re responsible for all activity associated with your account. If you suspect someone else is using your account, let us know.

You need an account for most activities on our platform, including purchasing and accessing content or submitting content for publication. While setting up or maintaining your account, you must provide and continue to provide accurate and complete information.

You have complete responsibility for your account as well as everything that happens on your account, including for any harm or damage caused by someone using your account without your permission. You may not transfer your account to someone else or use someone else’s account.

You may not share your account login credentials with anyone else as you are responsible for what happens with your account and Navid Saqib will not intervene in disputes between students or instructors who have shared account login credentials.

Content Enrollment and Lifetime Access

When you enroll in a course or other content, you get a license from us to view it via the Navid Saqib Services and for no other use. Don’t try to transfer or resell the content in any way. We grant you a lifetime access license, except when we must disable the content because of legal or policy reasons. We also have the right to sublicense the content to enrolled students. As a student, when you enroll in a course or other content, whether it’s free or paid content, you are getting a license from Navid Saqib to view the content via the platform and Services, and Navid Saqib is the licensor of record. Content is licensed, and not sold, to you.

In legal, more complete terms, Navid Saqib also grants you (as a student) a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license and views the content for which you have paid all required fees, for your personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.

We generally give a lifetime access license to our students when they enroll in a course or other content. We reserve the right to revoke any license to access and use any content at any point in time in the event of some legal policy reasons, for example, if the course or other content you enrolled in is the object of a copyright, or if violates our rules.

Payments, Credits, and Refunds

When you make a payment, you agree to use a valid payment method. If you aren’t happy with your content, Navid Saqib offers a 30-day refund or credit for most content purchases.

The prices of content on Navid Saqib are determined based on the terms instructor’s terms.  Keep in consideration, that the price of the content offered on the Navid Saqib website may not be exactly the same as the price offered on our mobile or TV applications, due to mobile platform providers’ pricing systems and their policies around implementing sales and promotions.

We occasionally run promotions and sales for our content, during which some content is available at discounted prices. The price applicable to the content will be the price at the time you complete your purchase of the content. Any price offered for particular content may also be different when you are logged into your account from the price available to users who aren’t registered or logged in.

You agree to pay the fees for content that you purchase, and you authorize us to charge your debit or credit card or process other means of payment for those fees. Navid Saqib work with payment service providers to offer you convenient payment methods in the country and to keep your payment information secure. We may update your payment methods using the information provided by our payment service providers.

When you make a purchase, you agree not to use an invalid or unauthorized payment method. If your payment method fails and you still get access to the content you are enrolling in, you agree to pay us the corresponding fees within thirty (30) days of notification from us. We reserve the right to disable access to any content for which we have not received adequate payment.

If the content you purchased is not what you were expecting, you can request, within 30 days of your purchase of the content, that Navid Saqib apply a refund to your account. This refund option does not apply to Subscription Plan purchases.

We reserve the right to apply for your refund as a refund credit or a refund to your original payment method, at our discretion, depending on the capabilities of our payment service providers.

No refund is due to you if you request it after the 30-day guarantee time limit has passed. If the content you purchased is disabled for legal or policy reasons, you are entitled to a refund beyond this 30-day limit. Navid Saqib also reserves the right to refund students beyond the 30-day limit in cases of suspected or confirmed account fraud.

Refund credits may expire if not used within the specified period and have no cash value, in each case unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Content and Behavior Rules

You can only use Navid Saqib for lawful purposes. You’re responsible for all the content that you post on our platform. You should keep the reviews, questions, posts, courses, and other content you upload in line with the law and respect the intellectual property rights of others. We can ban your account for repeated or major offenses. If you think someone is infringing your copyright on our platform, let us know.

You may not access or use the Services or create an account for unlawful purposes. Your use of the Services and behavior on our platform must comply with applicable local or national laws or regulations of your country. You are responsible for the knowledge of and compliance with such laws and regulations that are applicable to you.

·         If you are a student, the Services enable you to ask questions to the instructors of courses or other content you are enrolled in and to post reviews of content. For certain content, the instructor may invite you to submit content as “homework” or tests. Don’t post or submit anything that is not yours.

·         If you are an instructor, you can submit content for publication on the platform and you can also communicate with the students who have enrolled in your courses or other content. In both cases, you must abide by the law and respect the rights of others: you cannot post any course, question, answer, review, or other content that violates applicable local or national laws or regulations of your country.

·         We may restrict or terminate your permission to use our platform and Services or ban your account at any time, with or without notice, for any or no reason, including for any violation of these Terms, if you fail to pay any fees when due, for extended periods of inactivity, for unexpected technical issues, as well as if we suspect that you engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.

·         Upon any such termination we may delete your account and content, and we may prevent you from further access to the platforms and use of our Services. Your content may still be available on the platforms even if your account is terminated or suspended. You agree that we will have no liability to you or any third party for termination of your account, removal of your content, or blocking of your access to our platforms and services.

Using Navid Saqib at Your Own Risk

Anyone can use Navid Saqib to create and publish content and instructors and we enable instructors and students to interact for teaching and learning. Like other platforms where people can post content and interact, some things can go wrong, and you use Navid Saqib at your own risk.

·         Our platform model means we do not review or edit the content for legal issues, and we are not in a position to determine the legality of content. We do not exercise any editorial control over the content that is available on the platform.

·         By using the Services, you may be exposed to content that you consider offensive, indecent, or objectionable. Navid Saqib have no responsibility to keep such content from you and no liability for your access or enrollment in any course or other content.

·         When you interact directly with a student or an instructor, you must be careful about the types of personal information that you share. While we restrict the types of information instructors may request from students, we do not control what students and instructors do with the information they obtain from other users on the platform. You should not share your email or other personal information about yourself for your safety.

When you use our Services, you will find links to other websites that we don’t own or control. We are not responsible for the content or any other aspect of these third-party sites, including their collection of information about you. You should also read their terms and conditions and privacy policies.

Disclaimers

It may happen that our platform is down, either for planned maintenance or because something goes down with the site. It may happen that one of our instructors is making misleading statements in their content. It may also happen that we encounter security issues. These are just examples. You accept that you will not have any recourse against us in any of these types of cases where things don’t work out right. In legal, more complete language, the Services, and their content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We may decide to cease making available certain features of the Services at any time and for any reason. Under no circumstances will Navid Saqib or its affiliates, suppliers, partners, or agents be held liable for any damages due to such interruptions or lack of availability of such features.

We are not responsible for delay or failure of our performance of any of the Services caused by events beyond our reasonable control, like an act of war, hostility, or sabotage; natural disaster; electrical, internet, or telecommunication outage; or government restrictions.

Modifying or Terminating our Services

We are constantly changing and improving our Services. We are allowed to add or remove functions, features, as well as requirements, and we suspend (to the extent allowed by applicable law) or stop part of our Services altogether. Accordingly, Navid Saqib may terminate your use of any Service for any reason.

We may not be able to deliver the Services to certain regions for various reasons, including applicable export control requirements as well as internet access limitations and restrictions from governments. None of the Navid Saqib, its Content Providers and instructors, its contributors, sponsors, and other business partners, and their employees, contractors, and other agents (the “Coursera Parties”) shall have any liability to you for any such action. You can stop using our Services at any time, although we’ll be sorry to see you go.
